This is just a quick tip for those who are trying to transfer their Microsoft Outlook calendar to Entourage on a Mac.
I might write a full instruction article later but here is a brief Outline. If you have any specific questions just reply to this thread. 1. You will need to export your Calendar in Outlook first. File > Import/Export > Export to File > select the Windows Comma Separated value option. 2. Go to http://calendar.google.com -- Login to your account or register for one. Then go to the Calendar options and there should be a section where you can import a file. Click browse and import the csv calendar file that you exported from Outlook earlier. 3. Back in Google Calendar options - go to sharing and enable the option to share your calendar (temporarily) then click on Calendars section and under 'My Calendars' click on yours -- there should be an option/button that says ICAL (Calendar Address section) -- use this ICAL link and save this file to your computer (MAC). 4. Find this saved file on your MAC (or transfer it to your MAC). Right click the file and select open with option - then select Entourage. That should import the calendar into Entourage. Be sure to disable the sharing in Google Calendar afterwards. -------------------- Steve -- MCP, A+, I-Net +, Blackberry
